Here are answers to common questions about using flower essences.  If you have other questions, please feel free to contact me

How were flower essences developed?
Flower essences were developed by Dr. Edward Bach, a British physician. Over many years, he found 38 flowers and plants that addressed emotional states that affect people’s health and well-being.

How do the essences work?
Flower essences are a safe and natural method of healing. They gently restore the balance between mind and body by reducing and eliminating negative emotions.  If there are physical symptoms, this restoration of balance allows the body to heal itself.

How are they made?
Flower essences are made naturally from spring water infused with flowers and plants. They contain alcohol as a preservative--which can be eliminated by taking them via hot liquid.

What happens if I take too much?
You cannot overdose with flower essences. They are 100% natural, safe and work best taken several times a day over a period of time.

Do flower essences have side effects or interact with other medications?
They have no side effects and don't interact negatively with anything else.

What happens if I take the wrong one?
Nothing happens if you take essences that don't fit the imbalance you're experiencing.

What is the difference between essential oil and flower essences?
Essential oils have a strong scent and some should be avoided by people with certain illnesses, during pregnancy, in the sun, and more.   Flower essences don't smell and are safe with illness, pregnancy, etc..

Using flower essences....
Changes can occur within days or weeks, though more usually, within several months.  Deeper, long-term beliefs/issues can take a year or more to re-balance.

You'll take drops several times per day – which is helpful for results.   You can put them directly in your mouth or in a water bottle or glass of water to sip throughout the day.

Each bottle should last about three weeks.  Be as consistent as possible—momentum is important.

Pay attention to the following:  dreams, 'random' thoughts--such as when you're doing something like dishes or driving.  Is there a change from how you usually respond to a person or situation?  Also, how are your actions different?  These are some of the more obvious ways to track the sometimes dramatic, and sometimes subtle, changes flower essences offer.

Remember, flower essences don’t “make you” anything.  They simply reconnect you with your most balanced and healthy self.
